About Us

Pat Blaney has over 20 years' experience in customer service and marketing. A casualty of the economy (laid off 3 times in 4 years from the same bank!), she decided to use her passion for animals, combine it with her business expertise and Wagz 'n Whiskerz was born! She volunteers for several dog rescue organizations and fosters shelter dogs until they find their forever homes. Pat is certified in pet CPR and first aid through the American Red Cross. She lives with her two Westies and two kitties in Cornelius.

Polly moved to Cornelius 4 years ago and is the human guardian to her two rescue kitties. She has a passion for animals and has volunteered for the Cornelius Animal Shelter for the last 2 years. Polly is certified in pet CPR and first aid.

Joanna lives in Huntersville and is working on her degree in journalism. Pet sitting gives her the opportunity to take care of and love other animals when their owners aren't able to be there. When she is not working or studying, she spends time with her two birds, her Golden Irish Doodles Red & Jasper and her Russian Blue kitty Fuzzy.

Growing up in Huntersville, Whitney has seen many changes to the area! Family is very important to her and she spends lots of time with her parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She loves animals and worked at Meadows Bed & Biscuit for 5 years while going to school. She is the proud mom to her cute little teacup Chihuahua, Rylie.

Passionate about reading and history, Caroline also loves to get to know each pet's unique personality while caring for them. While staying with her brother when she returned to North Carolina several years ago, she became totally bonded with his dog JJ. Well, that was that and when Caroline moved out on her own, JJ moved with her!

As we all do, Jessica absolutely loves animals. She loves being able to set our clients' minds at ease while they are away from their pets because it is how she would care for her own pets. Her ideal Sunday afternoon would include the beautiful North Carolina springtime weather and taking a long trail walk with her pups. Sadly, Jessica recently lost her Portuguese Water Dog, Bandit, to a sudden illness. She lives in Cornelius with her husband and their yellow lab, Chasey.
